We’re Brooke and Nicole, the owners and founders of Darling Duo Events and Creative. Sisters, travel buddies, and cheese connoisseurs.
We launched Darling Duo in 2020 focused on intimate events, but we quickly realized that our skills for creating a beautiful experience extend beyond the design and decor of one-off occasions. We’re passionate about all things aesthetically pleasing.
In addition to events, we also offer creative services that range from branding and website design to social media management and photography. We’re here to collaborate with you - whether that’s leveling up your small biz, or celebrating a special moment.
LET’S GET PERSONAL
How did this business come to be, you ask? Hey, it’s me, Nicole.
Coming from an entrepreneurial family, starting a business has always been in my life’s trajectory. I have many diverse passions, all of which have culminated in the creation of Darling Duo.
Here’s what you should know: I’m a born & bred California girl who now resides in the South. I live in Atlanta with my sister, Brooke (business partner/co-conspirator!). My family and I recently sold our restaurant of 8 years (random, I know), and I’m starting life over at 30. I drink red wine (ew, Chardonnay) like it’s going out of style. I’m often cringe-worthy socially awkward – I’d blame my teenage uprooting from California to Alabama, but that’s a lie – I’m just awkward… it’s ok, though… my mom thinks I’m pretty cool. I enjoy photography, traveling, graphic design, and I make a kick-ass margarita. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely not find me… I’ll be in a different country.
Hi, I’m Brooke, Brookie, Lu.
Born and bred southern California blonde with a southern hospitality finish – thank you Alabama and Charleston for the crash course. After closing a huge chapter of our lives in the restaurant hospitality industry, I have been keeping my creative streak alive through designing and executing beautiful events. With 10+ years experience in the event industry, it was a no brainer for me. Seeing a vision come to life for client’s most special moments is one of my greatest joys.
When I’m not behind the event scene or computer screens, I’m enjoying time with my husband (Andy) & black lab (Sony), living for a sunny day and a good glass of red wine with my sisters, planning our next trip.
